Coordinating Research Centres (CRC)
The Biodiversity Genomics CRC brings together a multidisciplinary team of scientists who collaborate to address key biological questions on biodiversity assessment and conservation, biogeography, and evolution. The working group includes experts in a wide range of fields ranging from molecular genetics, genomics, ecology, zoology, population biology, bioinformatics, etc.
One of the main objectives of the CRC is to promote synergistic collaboration between scientists from different departments of the University of Milan and to foster collaborations with research centres and scientists involved in the conservation of biodiversity through the use of advanced genomic tools.
The CRC is expected to increase the visibility of the scientists involved and thus their chances of collaboration and project funding.
